iPhoto 6 Review

Editor’s Note: This review has been removed from our side-by-side comparison because it no longer ranks as a top 10 product. The original review is below, but check out our current  Photo Organizing Software Reviews  here.

iPhoto is part of the iLife program for Macintosh. iPhoto can easily import, organize, edit and share digital photos. iPhoto can manage up to 250,000 images and has many features to help you publish your images in a variety of ways including greeting cards, calendars, photocasting, photo books or to a website.

It includes a variety of one–click effects like matte, vignette, antique, edge blur, fade or you can transform images to black/white or sepia etc.

iPhoto has a unique feature called photocasting. Photocasting enables Mac users to share entire albums with automatic updates. So if new images are added they can also be added to all of those that subscribe to that photocast. You can also add password protection to the photocast albums.

This is an easy to use product for Mac users, unfortunately in order to utilize photocasting, all computers have to be Macs.
